Working At Home December Time

I had an idea of using the same technique used when making an Ox whip
with two leather strips, after refreshing my mind making a test piece I had to make wire, and I did have the right tools to do the job but I had to use what I have to make wire. I used fire wood as a peg, grinding stone to file a point so that I can pull wire, with the vice mounted on the broken chair , with the draw plate, my Mom holding the chair steady while I draw wire, when I was done drawing wire I used the fire wood stove (Jewel Falkirk) to anneal the wire, then after I started braiding. what came out of all the effort was the bangle on the previous blogpost with a good review from... http://jinntrend.blogspot.com/2012/03/what-has-been-occuring.htmlLink

Pink Tourmaline Woven Bangle

This one of my successful pieces I have made since march last year.
I was given this pink tourmaline as a gift by Lee Everitt.
She said after giving me the stone I must do something nice with it,
and this is the wonderful bangle design I came up with. I think the rough texture of the weaving complements the lenient pink faceted pear shaped tourmaline with smooth shiny side bands finishing off the bangle directing the eyes where to look at.

Branding

I hallmarked my name on a piece of silver metal strip and soldered on either sides of the side bands where the silver and gold braiding meet. After noticing DAMIANI Italian jewellery house they brand their jewellery on the outside http://www.damiani.com/en/products/search-----/5/show/20037091

It’s not how big it is – it’s what you do with it! (Stack Rings)

I made this round double weave stack rings for Veronica Anderson's new theme, made out of five silver woven rings with tube charms set with green tourmalines on bothsides of the tube. they can also be worn as earrings or a pendant on a tiny chain.
