MY WORK AT ARTISAN

The first time I sent my jewellery to Artisan Gallery, I had to share a show case with three other jewellers for the "Local is Lekker" exhibition, before the world cup. This was in the beginning of May. Now I have a whole show case to myself.

VERONICA ANDERSON JEWELLERY "METAL METTLE"

Veronica Anderson held a five year celebration called "METAL METTLE" and I was choosen to take part at this exhibition. Considering the amount of time that I was given, i think that this necklace turned out very well.

One day international (woven commercial ring)

Sue(Artisan Gallery) phoned me on Saturday ordering a woven commercial ring, the customer saw the one which have a synthetic ruby that I delivered it last Wednesday, but the customer wanted a blue stone. The customer was leaving on Monday going to Cape town then returning to USA. So there I was on a Sunday morning at 6am at tech working on the ring, have to say I was being under pressure. I finished making it on that day, then on Monday went and bought a stone (iolite), took the ring for setting, the did a few touch ups, then I delivered it. Customer was very impressed, she loved it(",). I'm glad all worked out fine(peace)

Category F5 (Tornado/Inkanyamba)

The F scale is used to describe the intensity of tornadoes or twistas and the damage they cause. Category F0 to F4 describes damaging range from lite to devastating, however category F5 describes totally damage, framed houses are lifted from their foundation and carried miles away, automobile fly through the air like missiles, trees are uprooted, reinforced concrete structures are destroyed. Woven Commercial

this is one of the first ring I made from this woven commercial range, I'm trying to incorporate a stone/s (synthetic ruby) with the weaving and a signature shank derived from a letter B(Baleni), I must admit I surprised myself how it came out, this range might be the one that you've been waiting for(",) lol
